Dog Biscuits
You Need
1 Cup of rolled oats
1/2 Cup of natural peanut butter (do not use anything with added sugar/artificial sweeteners)
1/2 Cup of mashed ripe banana | OR | 1/2 Cup of pumpkin purée.
A pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
With a blender or food processor, pulse the rolled oats to get a rough looking flour.
If you are using a blender, I'd recommend transferring the oats to a bowl for an easier cleanup.
If you're using a food processor, continue using the food processor.
Mix in the peanut butter, banana and salt. It should become a thick dough.
Roll out the dough to ~2/5" / 1cm thickness and use a cookie cutter to shape the biscuits.
Alternatively, roll out the dough and cut the cookies with a knife into strips or squares.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove and flip the biscuits and bake for another 15 minutes.
Let them cool and then give one to your pooch. You can also eat these, no one is stopping you—although they are a little bland and crunchy.
